The Compensation Plan For Coca Cola Company - 1823 Words
This paper will evaluate the existing compensation plan to determine if it is the most appropriate for your company. It will determine the most beneficial ration of internally consistent and market consistent compensations systems for the Coca-Cola Company. Next, it will evaluate the current pay structure used by this company and assess the recognition of employee contributions. It will make two (2) recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the discretionary benefits provided by the company selected. Last, it will evaluate the types of employer-sponsored retirement plans and health insurance programs provided by the company you selected and compare them to that companyââ¬â¢s major competitors. Coca-Cola is a multinational company that manufactures and sells soft-carbonated beverages. With over 130,000 employees, the company must establish an attractive pay, compensation and benefits package. Unfortunately, the companyââ¬â¢s executives have passed a compensation package that seems to benefit them possibly at the expense of the rest of the employees and stakeholders. The current compensation plan at the company must be revised so that it is inclusive of all employees within the company. Employees are an essential asset in any organization, and an attractive compensation package guarantees a motivated and productive workforce. It will also aide in attracting new talent and retaining the existing high performing talent at Coca-Cola.
